Nokia N70: shoot and share...instantly

The Nokia N70 is a member of the elite N-series family of the Finnish giant engineered to capture high definition pictures and videos. Every member of the N series family is supposed to be a multimedia computer. The Nokia N70 is no exception. The Nokia N70 is the first N series phone to be launched in UK, so its success was critical for other N series phones. The phone design resembles the Nokia 6680 but is a wee bit thicker and much lighter. The phone is of traditional candy-bar form available in Silver, Ivory/Pearl and a Black music edition.

The keypad is small but functional. The five way navigation key at the center makes it very easy to navigate through the highly intuitive user interface. The Nokia N70 is the first Nokia phone to break the 2.0 mega pixel barrier. High resolution pictures of 1600x1200 pixel can be shot in scenery, portrait, night and sports mode. Auto focus, 20x digital zoom, integrated LED flash goes a long way in capturing perfect pictures irrespective of the lighting condition. Adjustable brightness, white balance settings and colour tones only increases its appeal as a valid substitute of you digital camera.

Video recording is done in a lower resolution but is very decent by mobile imaging standards. There is even a Movie Director application is supplied for editing videos on the Nokia N70.This S60 based, Symbian OS 8.1a operated smart phone wields 3G power and is at home with high data transfer rate and video calling. A dedicated VGA camera is located at the top of its 262k colour TFT display to assist video calling across UMTS network. The Nokia N70 also gives you triband GSM mobile network support for global connectivity. The device is also endowed with class 10 GPRS, EDGE, Blue tooth, USB and all other latest connectivity tools.

Nokia N70 is the entry level N series phone which is one of the smallest 3 G phones in its category as well. It is designed as a perfect handset for both fun and work. Came across something interesting on Nokia N70 at
